Campus Community, In June, the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees overwhelmingly gave final approval to revisions to the institution’s Governing Regulations (GRs).

The University of Kentucky Board of Trustees overwhelmingly on Friday adopted revisions to UK’s Governing Regulations, designed to ensure more responsiveness to the needs and priorities of the state.  The revisions are part of Project Accelerate, an initiative the board undertook with UK President Eli Capilouto to examine ways the university can and should accelerate its progress in advancing Kentucky, the key focus of the institution’s strategic plan.

Campus Community,Today was a remarkable day in the life of our university. Our Board of Trustees gave approval to two items that speak to our commitment to partnership and the idea that now is the time for us to accelerate our progress in advancing this state.First, our Board of Trustees authorized UK to move forward with the acquisition of St. Claire Hospital, an essential community health provider in Morehead, Kentucky.
