GR I: Declaration of Principles

This Governing Regulation summarizes the principles underlying the governance of the University. GR I outlines the importance of shared governance and academic freedom as bedrock principles for University governance, particularly in the roles of the faculty. GR I also establishes equal dignity for all members of the University community as well as the supremacy of the Governing Regulations.
