Policy - Soliciting, Receiving, Recording, and Administering Grants and Contracts for Sponsored Projects

This policy establishes procedures for soliciting, receiving, recording, and administering grants and contracts for sponsored projects at the University of Kentucky.  It governs agreements with government agencies, industry, private foundations, and other entities that support the University's instruction, research, and service missions.  It also defines sponsored grants and contracts as obligations to perform specific activities for a sponsor's benefit and identifies exceptions, including certain agricultural grants, state appropriations, student aid funds, patient care contracts, and projects approved by the President.
